New Electric Car in Salem is a Real Buzz

(SALEM) - High gas prices means the inventory`s selling fast at Electric
Wheels Incorporated in Salem. Owner Larry Dye says the new cars go
40 Miles an hour, `They`re really well received here in Oregon.`
Dye says the new Xebra is what has everybody talking. The three-wheeler
is actually licensed as a motorcycle. It can actually go faster than 40 MPH
according to Dye, but keeping the speed down extends the car`s range.
`It is zippy,` he says.
